Dr Bansi Patani

Biography
Dr Bansi Patani is a Clinical Research Fellow in Interventional Pulmonology at the Royal Brompton Hospital and an ST6 Respiratory Medicine trainee within the North West Thames Deanery.
She graduated from University College London with a BSc (Hons) and MBBS and is currently undertaking a PhD at the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London.
Her clinical and academic interests focus on the application of robotic-assisted bronchoscopy in lung cancer diagnosis and therapy.
Her role includes the running and coordination of translational clinical research trials investigating novel bronchoscopic tumour ablation strategies, as well as advanced bronchoscopic therapies for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
